Watch Batteries Replaced

Brought 3 watches, which were previously sitting on my dressing table collecting dust, for battery replacement today, finally. Fortunately, all watches are still functioning. However, I wasn't able to collect my Swatch watch by today. Yes, that is why it couldn't appear in the picture.


Cheap watches yeah.. I am not a rich girl. 25 hours, I bought with my friend 3 years ago and adidas summer watch which I bought in 2001.

I went to a Time Club watch shop(they do sell Swatch watches) and requested for battery replacing service and changing of a small portion of the elastic strap with the extra that I have brought. The staff required some time for the job and I was advised to collect it later after work. I figured that making my colleagues wait during lunch hours was not a good idea, even though we have eaten already, they probably appreciate some slack time after the meal. Therefore, I chose to pick it up in the evening.

To my dismay, the watch strap could not be fixed and the staff suggested that I proceed to the Swatch Counter in Bugis Seiyu for the strap service. She mentioned that she has difficulty putting the strap securely. But as I did not have my warranty card with me, the Swatch Staff declined to service the strap for free. Not wanting to pay for another service, I had no choice but to ask for help from Time Club again. I am lucky that the staff was rather responsible after hearing my situation with Swatch. She offered to get her colleague's help tomorrow to get the watch strap fixed. Hopefully, the watch can be picked up tomorrow.

Just completed an about 1.1km jog. Was self-contented with the pace and distance covered. Setting a goal to complete a further distance for this month. Arm exercises resumed as usual. I'm feeling great after sweating all out and what I need next is a good night's sleep for tomorrow. :P
